How can I get a value on antique oriental furniture? I have a black lacquer article w / genuine ivory inlay.?

This was sent by my grandmother, who was rich and she bought in New York in 1940 or 50. It has beautiful scenery (ivory) and women children in a garden and fishing on foot, with details hand-painted gold. The lid opens and has more detail, then another surface which also opens to both left and right. Front cabinets, side cabinets and corner cabinets to hold stemware. The handles are carved in wood, and Coquille Saint-Jacques in shape .. I live in a small southern town. I do not consider any of the local "evaluation" of the people here enough knowledge to assess this accurately. Short of "Antiques Roadshow", are there any sources you could recommend? Online, perhaps? I may be interested in selling this bar because it does not fit into my decor.
